in wind engineering in Germany. Started RE career in CSP at Frenell GmbH,
over to the wind and solar PV at Elsewedy Electric T&. -
Mohamed ElsammaaChief Commercial Officer - solarizegypt
Mohamed is the Chief Commercial Officer for SolarizEgypt. He holds a BBA in Management from The University of Toronto in Canada. Prior to joining SolarizEgypt, he held managerial and executive roles at Enterprise Holdings in Canada.
He joined Enterprise Holdings in 2011 where he began his career in managing retail stores across Toronto. He then transitioned into the B2B Corporate Agreements department, where he negotiated country wide transportation agreements with numerous multi-national companies, government bids, and corporate travel agencies. He then took on a new role launching a new division of Enterprise Holdings “Exotic Car Collection” in Toronto,Canada.
His success at converting Capex based operations into Opex based business models, has been invaluable in developing the commercial strategy for SolarizEgypt over the past years. He is a proven strategic executive successful at leveraging career P&L, finance, and strategic business development experience to enhance organization productivity and efficiency.
Mohamed’s focus in the past three years has been dedicated to developing the commercial and industrial sector’s understanding of the private energy market in Egypt. He works closely with off takers, financing entities, legislators and all stakeholders to develop the necessary infrastructure for IPPs and PPAs in Egypt.
