  Karim Asali is Managing Director of PV EMEA GmbH, a German based consulting company specialized in PV design, product sales & marketing with a special focus on the Middle East. He was Technical Director and Director of Business development for 12 years at First Solar responsible for supporting its growth strategy and business development activity. Karim has almost three decades of experience in solar energy, conventional energy and power generation, working at international companies such as ABB, Kyocera, Sharp Solar and co-shaped the Desertec Industrial Initiative.
