EU PVSEC 2025

The EU PVSEC is the world’s leading forum for PV research and development and the largest
international conference on PV solar energy. It covers a wide range of topics such as device
materials, components and systems, wafering, BIPV, agrivoltaics, floating PV, and much
more.

Alongside the conference, the state-of-the-art PV exhibition showcases cutting-edge
technologies, innovations, and concepts from the upstream PV sector.
Every year, experts from across the globe gather to present and discuss the latest
developments in photovoltaics, network with peers, and explore business opportunities. This
event is a renowned platform, focused entirely on the global PV solar sector, bridging
science and industry.

In 2025, the EU PVSEC will be held at the BEC Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Bilbao, Spain, from
22 – 26 September. Additionally, the fourth PV Academy will take place on Sunday, 21
September.

The conference programme is coordinated by the European Commission Joint Research
Centre.
