Ritesh Pothan started his career building out the infrastructure for a global KPO serving top banks in N.A. and Europe with a team of 100+ Engineers from diverse fields of Information Security, IT Networking, Mechanical and Civil. Towards 2010, he founded an Advisory firm which specialized in Wind, Solar and Energy Plantations. 2009 to 2017 was spent enabling global firms access to Markets in Wind, Biomass and Solar. In addition to running the advisory, he started a couple of LinkedIn Renewable Groups which have grown significantly (Solar Now and Renewable) with over 30,000 members collectively and his blog Now.Solar and writing for international magazines. 2017 onwards, he led Global BD for Technology leader in Solar PV Single Axis Tracking – Scorpius Trackers with installations in Saudi, Kenya, Lebanon, Japan as well as India amongst other geographies where he was instrumental in building out large Solar PV projects in Saudi, India as a Lead for Projects too. Earlier this year he moved to DroneBase to pursue his passion on improving quality in Solar PV by leading the construction monitoring globally and leading the BD for asset inspections across AMEA + APAC in all verticals.

Hans Jürgen SauterVP Middle East and Africa @ Nextracker
Hans Jürgen Sauter has more than 12 years of experience in the planning and construction of large-scale solar projects. As a mechanical engineer with a long-standing, solid management background from steel mills worldwide, he focused on the optimization and implementation of racking and tracking solutions mainly for Europe, Africa, and the Gulf region. During his career as CEO and CSO in the renewable energy sector, he was responsible for racking solutions of more than 3.5 GW. He is VP MENA and Africa with units in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and India for the worlds leading tracker company Nextracker.

Dinesh ThakareHEAD – Design & Engineering (RT) @ Cleanmax
He is the heading Design & Technology activity at Cleanmax Enviro Energy P. Ltd. He has hands on experience of dealing into solar power plant right from the designing stage to commissioning for both utility scale and rooftop solar power plant. He did engineering for 400MW + solar power plant with higher generation output.
With engineering he has better understanding of PV type and technology because of which he involves in Module selection, inline process validation & quality parameter check.
he has total 11+ years of experience in solar PV technology. He pursued Masters(MTech) in Energy and graduated in electrical engineering. -
Elena OrtizProject Manager MEA @ UL Solutions
Ms. Elena is experienced in Solar site installation. She has been working at the main global solar energy companies in several projects completing 2GW of Solar Energy with a large experience in Middle East region. She started working as a Mechanical Engineer for CSP & PV Projects in Spain, before moving to UAE where she performed different roles at the biggest solar plants of MEA, as Operation and Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Supervisor, Quality Coordinator and Project Manager. She has a strong experience on design, construction, quality and commissioning aspects and spent a lot of time at site for solar projects. Elena has over eight years’ experience in solar sector and has an extensive experience in Middle East Market. She worked with many main players such as Masdar, Dewa, Abengoa and Acciona. Elena García has a master’s degree in Energy Engineering and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Oviedo in Spain. She is fluent in English and Spanish and intermediate-level of French.
