Intersolar Europe 2022 Open its door to visitors

Hello and Welcome to Solarabic’s coverage for the first day of Intersolar Europe 2022 in Munich, Germany.
Visitors from all around the world are coming to the fair, and it’s expected that the total number of visitors will be 50,000+ based on first-day visitors.
Intersolar Europe is one of the most important events related to the solar sector in Europe and the world.
This year’s exhibit is taking place with the world entering the Terawatt era of solar capacity and despite the geopolitical circumstances related to the Russian and Ukraine conflict, and the remaining impacts of the covid-19 pandemic, which affected the market and the supply chain.
The Solar Energy sector is on the verge of a revolution era with many PV manufacturers switching to N-type modules instead of P-type, while the unexpected demand for inverters is rising.
JinkoSolar: No.1 in PV modules shipments in Q1 2022

Jinko Solar presented at Intersolar 2022 the TigerNeo PV module, its newest series of PV modules which were launched at the end of 2021.
TigerNeo is based on N-type solar cells with high efficient TopCon technology.
The module efficiency is 22.3%, with first-year degradation of less than 1%, and annual degradation of 0.40%.
TgierNeo modules have a good low light performance and are available in different capacities up to more than 600 Watts.
JinkoSolar also presented its BIPV series, which is available in different colours to suit the clients’ needs.
SMA: Public and residential EV chargers

SMA revealed its new EV charger which can be used as a single charger at home or in groups in charging stations.
The charger power is up to 22KW and has a type 2 charging port which makes it compatible with all standard electric vehicles.
It can be integrated into new and existing PV systems and is expected to hit the market in July 2022.
SMA also revealed the SMA JOIN Charge, an App which can help the user to find the nearest charging point, and charge without a monthly basic fee. If they are already an SMA EV Charger customer.
And finally, SMA announced the new Sunny Home Manager 2.0, which is an intelligent energy manager and enables the most efficient use of solar energy in the home. It optimizes PV self-consumption and significantly reduces electricity costs. To do this, it measures the power of PV generation, purchased electricity as well as grid feed-in, and gives an overview of all relevant energy flows in the household. It can simply be installed at the grid connection, then connect to the internet router and sign in to Sunny Portal to monitor the system and control it.
LONGi: Solar Energy and Hydrogen power

LONGi revealed its new subsidiary company, LONGi Hydrogen, which will mainly focus on developing green hydrogen solutions and electrolysis to produce green hydrogen from the electrolysis of water using electricity from renewable energy.
LONGi Hydrogen revealed its Electrolysis in its Booth at Intersolar Europe 2022 and explained the value chain of green hydrogen and its role in the energy transition toward a green future, free of fossil fuel. LONGi Hydrogen started Electrolysis production in 2021 with a capacity of 500 MW, and its goal is to reach a capacity of 1.5 GW by the end of 2022.
Electrolysis Specification
In the solar sector, LONGi revealed its new bifacial frameless PV module, which is designed for BIPV applications and will be sold with the structure or the materials to which the module will be attached.
These modules are being manufactured in China now and are expected to reach the market within 3 to 6 months. Studies are being made to determine the possibility of adding a cooling fan beneath the module to lower its temperature and improve its productivity.
Phocos: Sustainable and complete solution for energy storage

Phocos revealed its new Any-Grid + Any-Cell Energy Storage Solution which consist of 8 KW Hybrid inverter that can charge the 5 KWh battery – either using electricity from PV array or the grid -, with a lifespan of 6,000 cycle. The system contain a battary management systems to keep the battery working in a safe state and monitor its performance.
The storage system contain a connect and control system for the battery and the inverter.
Canadian Solar: High efficiency PV modules with heterojunction cells

Canadian Solar introduced its newest PV module the “Hi Hero”, which is based on heterojunction solar cells technology.
The “Hi Hero” has high efficiency of up to 22.5%, with excellent anti-leTID and anti-PID performance, and its small size makes it suitable for rooftops application.
The Hi Hero have a glass cover and back sheet but uses an EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) coating which is clear on the front cover and white on the back.
Hi Hero has a 25 years industry-leading product warranty for materials and workmanship, and a Linear Power performance warranty for 30 years.
